Renaissance Louis XIII dressoir Beautiful Louis XIII dressoir, or credenza, Gothic-Renaissance transition with pentagonal shape: the two doors cabinet is suppoeted by the bottom decorated with linenfold panels and two jambs, four consoles in pendant decorating the front of the piece of furniture. The decoration of the whole cabinet, made around 1500, is characteristic of the transition between the Gothic period and the Ranaissance combining linenfold panels, characters and hinges with foliage from the late Gothic, with panels decorated with grotesques, dolphins, arabesques from the First Renaissance
