En 1876, le domaine figure parmi les tous premiers crus d'Avensan, et le classement de 1932 lui confère la classification de Cru
Bourgeois. Ce classement sera confirmé en 2003.
La propriété couvre 17 hectares autour d'Avensan, à 30 km au nord de Bordeaux. En 1992, le vignoble s'est étendu par
l'acquisition de 2 hectares sur la commune de Soussans, appellation Margaux.
Une longue évolution de culture raisonnée depuis 1994, aboutit à la culture biologique en 2008 et le 1er millésime certifié BIO est
le millésime 2011.
La conversion biologique s’étend maintenant à toute la propriété et de nouveaux investissements accompagnent cette
orientation.
La culture biologique doit être menée avec anticipation. Elle redonne de l’importance au sol et s’intéresse à la physiologie de la
